In 2008 we were invited to be present with a booth at:

• September 2008: Zuiderparkspelen, Rotterdam
  
• October 2008: International Aquarium Conference Shanghai
  
• December 2008: Shanghai Ocean Aquarium
  

During the Zuiderparkspelen, renowned makeup artist Roy James Dohne painted 3 young volunteers as Gods of the Ocean together with volunteer Nancy and Suzette. De Zuiderparkspelen is a yearly youth festival. With this action we drew the attention to the status of our ocean and our goddeses spread around a 1,000 leaflets among the visitors.

Public aquariums can play a role in education of conservation of water wildlife. For this reason we were invited to have a booth during the International Aquarium Conference.

In December we held the Sammy the Shark exhibition and talked to the visitors about shark protection.
