Every year on the third Saturday of September many volunteers from all over the globe go to the beach. Not to get a suntan but to clean them. This initiative is coordinated by oceanconservancy.org and is executed by local NGO's. After extensive research we found the Grassroots Community Association coordinating "beach cleaning projects" since 2007. In 2008 we joined them!
