Beach Cleanups
This initiative started more than 10 years ago in the USA when a lady went to the beach and decided to start organize cleanup actions. Since then different organizations started to organize these cleanup events in their local community.

Dates
The Netherlands: October 4th 2009 – Marinedream Foundation and the Leoclub The Hague organize a sponsor beach cleanup with 100 students. After October 4th, any school in The Netherlands who like to do a beach cleanup can contact Stichting De Noordzee.
